Two to four players can participate in one game. Each player has one to three lives depending on the stakes in each room, which are indicated by matches.
Each player receives three cards (hand) - three more cards are placed face up in the center (place cards).
It is played with a 32-card pack (7-10, J, Q, K, A). The cards have the following values:
Card - Value
Ace - 11
King, Queen, Jack, Ten - 10
Nine - 9
Eight - 8
Seven - 7
You want to get as many points as possible by exchanging your own cards with the place cards
Only cards of the same suit (hearts, clubs, diamonds, spades) give you points
In addition, there are three special card combinations:
1. Three cards with the same kind (eg three Kings, three Sevens, etc.). This combination is 30½ points
2. An Ace and two 10-point cards of the same suit. This is called "pants" and worth 31 points. The round is over immediately and the player(s) with the fewest points lose(s) a life.
3. Three Aces. This combination is called "Fire": the round is terminated immediately and ALL other players lose a life, no matter how many points they have.
