Inviting friends works in the purchase menu via an invitation link directly in the iOS or Android app and is limited to 20 invited and rewarded players (=who have played at least 3 games). If you no longer have this option available, you have either reached this quota or have been banned for violating the terms and conditions.

In the browser version there is no possibility to invite friends.
